What began as the Jersey Shore's most complete hobby shop in 1961 still continues to grow and serve its customers with the same philosophy and dedication that was the cornerstone 
of Tom Tweer, Senior's dream to own and operate his own business.

Around 1963 he had the opportunity to become a Mercury Outboard Dealer, as the local dealer was retiring, and being a Mercury owner, himself, he signed on.  Next he took on the Winner Boat Line, which back then was a good quality product, and was their top dealer more than once for the next seven years.

In 1970 he decided to handle Grady-White, a little known boat company in our area and agreed to stock two leftover boats and give them a shot.  Those two models were the infamous Chesapeake and Nassau and that was the beginning of a 40+ years relationship.
